Support the local business and you won't be disappointed! The fresh bakery items are just wow yummy keeping my husband away is going to be a challenge. Just moved to the area and the reason they didn't get 5 stars is because if you didn't know...there cinnamon bread is intoxicating. Shame on you for being so good. Thanks and see you soon.

I really wanted to love this place. They have a huge selection and very cheap prices. But unfortunately the baked goods were just ok flavor-wise. We tried a sugar cookie, red velvet cookie, peanut butter cookie, brownie, apple fritter, raspberry danish, raspberry beignet and a cookie sandwich. The cookies literally tasted store bought. I did enjoy the apple fritter and the cookie sandwich. Everything else was just ok.

Love. Love. Love this place. Every time I'm in Grand Junction I eat way too many treats at this bakery. Staff is friendly. Prices are great. If you live close to here you need to go!!

Great baked goods, great prices, nice staff, lots of loyal customers. I'm really glad I stopped here on a whim even before finding out if they were on yelp. They have some crazy cool stuff in here too. Check out the donut hamburger pic and the tiny donut pic.

Oh my! If you like old school BEAUTIFUL baked goods, this is the place for you! After perusing the gorgeous (and let us not forget yummy smelling) selection, I got a couple of doughnuts - YUM. And! The sweet kind conversation was just as great.

I have no idea how this place stays in business, they are so inexpensive! A sweet little mom & pop type store that cranks out mouth-watering donuts, pastries, breads, cakes....all fresh, all delicious! As soon as I walk in, the scent of sugar & vanilla puts me in a coma. The staff is very friendly and efficient, so helpful. They will make anything you ask for if they don't already have it. My favorite item is the individual Peach Upside-Down cake which is seasonal and made using Palisade peaches. It is buttery, light, moist! The Apple Fritters are another great choice. Wonderful bagels and danish for breakfast. I've ordered rolls there for holiday meals, also excellent! Really, never been disappointed. One note: They are a cash only business so stop at the ATM before you head over.

Baked goods are made fresh daily and the staff is always friendly. Their pastries are unique and amazing. Every time I visit there's always multiple customers ordering, it's obvious that Home Style is a local favorite.

This is quite possibly Grand Junction's most venerable food asset. It has been around forever, and with good reason. Great super fresh artisan loaves (they don't call them that) for $1.85, chilled pizza dough balls for almost nothing, state of the art hamburger buns for 30 cents a piece, and old style pastries, doughnuts and and cakes. It smells wonderful inside here. This IS the real deal. A visit to Home Style always restores my faith in America. There should be lines out the door, but there aren't. They close early, are closed on Sunday and Monday and don't take credit cards.

I tried their Glazed Buttermilk and Apple Fritter today. The Glazed Buttermilk was good. It had good texture and buttermilk flavor, the size was what it should be and the glaze coverage was great. The Apple Fritter was also good. The texture and flavor were good and SHOCK it actually had chunks of apple in it. Nobody else here does that, that I have seen. AND, it was almost the least expensive. I have found so far that the least expensive shops had the best donuts. The two most expensive, by almost double, were the worst. Go and enjoy!

This is the quintessence of what a doughnut should be. Hands down the best doughnuts I've ever had. I grew up on these. They cannot be beaten.

This place is located close to the h.s. where I work, so my students frequently go here and rave about it. I thought I'd try it myself even though I don't often buy sweets. I got a whoopie pie, and it was delectable. I was super pleased with the immense selection of treats at low prices. I love supporting these small local businesses, so I am sure I will be back!

Great selection, fresh pastries -- delicious!

Yes the doughnuts are great, but where are the grains? Can't they make anything but white bread? I am always enticed by the pastries but end up feeling like my mouth is lined with sugar coating after eating them. Big thumbs up for the zuchinni muffins and the pizza dough (again, would love a wheat dough), and my husband, the real doughnut afficianado, craves the glazed cake doughnuts.

Amazing place. Great people behind the counter are very helpful and patient as I struggle to choose from all the wonderful items. We ended up with a very tasty Duchie (kind of a glazed donut with currants) and an crispy moist tear apart apple fritter. The fact that there are no pictures of our choices is testament to how irresistible they were. I have to go back before leaving the area! That is a must.

I have been here for donuts and danishes. Some of them are super and some just OK. But, I love their bread. A fresh loaf of French bread (more a brioche style than a baguette) has that wonderful yeasty aroma and flavor. It slices well at home - or they will slice it for you. The people behind the counter are cheerful and helpful. I come from a part of the country where bakeries are a dying breed. This place has made me so happy. I like to go there when it is very busy and I have to wait to be served. Then no one notices that I am just standing there breathing in the wonderful bakery aromas. But- even when they are busy, they have plenty of counter help, so I don't get to stand around sniffing as long as I would like. YUM
